Ichettira Nanaiah and Malayanda Bopanna placed second in the Thar Off Road challenge held at Kanoor on 13-12-2014. This off road event was organised by V5 offroaders coorg.
Bopanna also got the best spotter award. This was one of the toughest off road competition’s held in india with emphasis laid on clearing the obstacles technically rather than speed with vehicle preservation in mind.
Some of the obstacles were water crossings, straight log crossings, zig zag Log crossings, winching stage and slush pit.
There were around 20 participants from all over south india.
