Will Appachu’s loyalty pay…. at least this time?

CC Staff

Be it politically or development wise….Coorg getting a raw deal by the State Govt every time has been a buzz word in Coorg since long. Tomorrow will be another Cabinet expansion of the BJP Govt in Karnataka. And our 3 Time MLA and loyal man of BJP in Coorg-Appachu Ranjan and his followers should be waiting with baited breath.

Though his credentials speak for himself, the  poster boy and strong man of BJP in Coorg has  been successively ignored by the top brass of state BJP unit for a ministerial berth.

Appachu has never hidden his desire for a ministerial berth, he and his followers have used every tactic in the book to bring to notice of the State Govt – about the same….., from threatening to bring BJP down in Coorg ,   resigning , even wooing CM Yeddyurappa with theertha & flowers.

The last time he missed the ministerial bus Appachu blamed BJP Leaders of plotting against him and lamented that though he is behind the rising star of BJP in Coorg, he has always been sidelined in the name of this-or-that.

When he met Yedduryappa after missing the ministrial berth he made his disappointment clear to him. At that time Yeddyurappa  said;

I also wanted to include Appachu Ranjan in the Cabinet but failed to do so due to “political pressure”. I will try to solve the issue and make “justice” to the district in future.

Yeddyurappa tried to pacify Appachu with a political secretary post.

During the recent Defection Crisis…Appachu once again got a chance to prove that he is one of the most loyal member of BJP and cannot be bought over with loads of cash or a ‘promise’ of ministerial berth which has been denied to him time and again by the BJP. Kumaraswamy for his overtures got a ‘no’ plus the CD scam.

Just when the BJP in Coorg are optimistic and have their fingers crossed, our ex-law minister and JDS Strongman M.C.Nanaiah jumped into the Cabinet Expansion Ring with a  legal salvo & advice on constitutional mathematics , at the same time supporting Appachu for his dues.

Phew…….Let’s Wait & See !

Loyalty means nothing. Forget about any Kodava minister in the next expansion or in the near future. Gone are those days.
He should have realized long back.
He should defect and make sure the BJP never comes back to Coorg.
