Shortage of Govt. Health professional’s in Kodagu

Eleven doctors  were  appointed by the State Government recently to hospitals in Kodagu. Out of the eleven only five have opted to joined duty in Kodagu.
Of the five doctors who have joined, two have been deputed to Suntikoppa Primary Health Centre, one each at Hudikeri, Kannangala, and Bhagamandala Primary Health Centres. Read More

Protest in Napoklu over lack of Doctors

The Congress conducted a  protest against the Kodagu Zilla Panchyat and the local Zilla Panchyat member A. Manu Muthappa,  for ignoring the residents of Napoklu.
President of Napoklu Chamber of Commerce B.S. Thammaiah regretted that though a huge amount of money was spent on the Community Health Centre in Napoklu, there were no permanent Doctors or Nursing staff posted to the hospital. Read More
