Forest Officials   recovered stolen  teak wood worth Rs. 65,000. Officials led by the RFO M.S. Chinnappa raided the house of one, Usman and recovered 25 cubic feet of  teak wood.  There were no arrests made since the alleged culprits had absconded,  it is suspected that the same gang was also involved in various other offences including theft of forest produce.
