Police attacked in Betoli

The policemen who rushed to the spot on hearing about disturbances in Betoli village were attacked by a gang. Rafiq and others assaulted Shamsu who allegedly informed the police about the disturbances in the village. When the police rushed to the spot, the accused attacked the policemen and their vehicle with clubs and stones.  The Virajpet police have registered a case of rioting against the accused.
