Manepanda Ganapathy promoted to the rank of Additional Secretary

Manepanda Appaiah Ganapathy, an officer of the 1986  batch  from the UP/ Uttarakhand cadre, has been promoted to the rank of Additional Secretary and is presently on  the Personal Staff of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

M.A. Ganapathy,  is also the spokesperson of  the Home  Ministry. Ganapathy has been awarded the President’s Medal for Meritorious service and he was later decorated with the Presidents medal for distinguished service. M.A. Ganapathy completed his primary and secondary education at Ponnampet and graduated from the Madras Christian College Tambaram, he  completed his Post Graduation from JNU New Delhi. Ganapathy is the son of Maneyapanda Appaiah and Premalatha, residents of  Eachoor near Kunda in Virajpet taluk of Coorg. Ganapathy is married to Sandhya and they have a son Nikhil,  a Lawyer with the law firm Amarchand Mangaldas & Shroff, New Delhi .
