Madikeri: Welcoming the proposal for a rail link to Kodagu, the Coorg CPI(M) secretary I.R.Durgaprasad said the railway line is going to benefit the local people. He critisized the NGOs and Locals who are opposed to the railway link.
He further said that hydel projects near the reserve forests should be allowed stating that the development works and conservation should go hand in hand.
