Addressing a press meet BJP Yuva Morcha district unit President Bharathish said that a public meeting will be held on October 5th at the Gandhi Maidan, Madikeri which will be attended by Varun Gandhi, Navjot Singh Siddu and BJP Yuva Morcha state president Sunil Kumar. The public meeting is being organised to create an awareness on terrorism and Naxalism, The jatha will conclude in Mangalore on October 12th.
The jatha will commence after garlanding the statue of General Thimmaiah. He said the problem of terrorism has become a menace in the country, and that Kodagu has become a haven for terrorists. He said “Kodagu is land of warriors and we will not allow this sacred land to become a land of Naxals or terrorists. He further added that ” we will inculcate the feeling of patriotism among the youths.There is a need to create an awareness among youth on the need to face the challenges posed by the terrorism and naxalism”.
A shobhayathre will also be held and about 10,000 youths are expected to take part, he added.
