MADIKERI: The Kodagu District Kannada Sahitya Parishat said that around 45 people from the district would participate in the 73rd All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelan to be held in Shimoga from December 20.
A press release from the parishat stated that four people from the district had participated various categories in the Sammelan.
President of the district KSP TP Ramesh will address a seminar while general secretary of KSP B A Shamshuddin and Sahana Kanthabail will participate in the poets meet.
Senior educationist from the district Dr M M Chengappa will receive the honour as he has been selected as one among the 73 eminent personalities from the State, the KSP press release stated.
