Revenue Secretary rakes up Jamma Land Rights issue again.

If you thought the Jamma Land Rights issue in Kodagu with done and over  after the CM had withdrawn a similar notification previously, the new Revenue Secretary G S Narayanan has once again issued a new circular denying the the rights over Jamma Land in Coorg.  The Deputy Commssioner of Coorg Ashawathnarayana Gowda has requested the secretary not to apply the rules to Coorg as Jamma Land Rights are unique to Coorg since time immemorial.
