Reactions on the Karnataka Govt opposition to World Heritage Tag for Western Ghats

Reactions are pouring in towards Karantaka Government’s plan to reject the proposal to include Western Ghats as World Hertiage Site by UNESCO.

The Forest Minister even refered to UNESCO as a “Foreign Agency” and compared it to East India Company.

This was expected cosidering the nexus between these corrupt politicians and the hydro power cntractors, timber mafia etc. We should strongly oppose the dicision.
