Coorg
(Kodagu) is a mountaineous district
located in south of india, know for its

to reach Coorg ?
Road
By
road is the only way to reach Coorg. Regular
buses ply everyday from Bangalore to Madikeri
( Mercara ). Madikeri is 260 kms from Bangalore.
The journey usually takes around 5-6 hours
from bangalore, by bus.
You can book your tickets well in advance
through travel agents in bangalore. Buses
also ply to Coorg from other cities like
Mangalore & Mysore .
Bangalore
is well connected by Air transport nationally
and internationally.
The nearest airport are Bangalore
(300 kms) & Mangalore
(135 kms).
You
can also hire a vehicle to coorg from bangalore,
mysore or mangalore.

When
is the best time to visit Coorg ?
The
average temperature of Coorg throughout
the year is 20 to 25 degrees. The nights
are mostly cool throughout the year. Summer
temperatures can be range from 17 to 35
degrees & winter anywhere from 18 to
extreme -4 degrees in some parts of Coorg.
Mother
nature showers around plenty of warth during
the monsoons.
Monsoon can be great fun for the adventurous
